As pissed off as this shutdown has made me and others, at least one good thing came out of it: A Klan rally scheduled for Saturday at Gettysburg has been canceled.

Turns out Gettysburg National Military Park rescinded all permits for special events because of the shutdown, which meant the Confederate White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan’s planned demonstration at the Pennsylvania battlefield won’t happen.
Aw, guys, I’m so sorry. Now you’ll have to stay home and be racist.
Maybe you can burn a cross in front of a five-dollar bill if that’ll make ya feel better. Just ignore my maniacal laughter at your pain.
