OK, not really … but you surely know by now that Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and predicted six more weeks of winter.
Yes, technically we’d be getting that regardless, but it’s an old German folk tale (with a hedgehog, though) that’s now become a cottage industry, so if Phil says keep layering, we’ll do that.
Some of us are used to taking orders from small, furry creatures, though they’re usually closer and more ill-mannered.
Some of us, though, wish winter and spring would just make up their minds already; the constant weather changes are hell on those of us with chronic sinusitis.
But don’t worry, backyard buddy. If you come back for a visit, I won’t take my frustrations out on you. I will, though, drive Luke nuts and make him watch you in his backyard. Ignore the evil laughter, please.
