By the time this has been posted, I’ll either be putting a turkey breast in the slow-cooker, or still asleep (I’m hoping for the latter; I can always save the turkey for dinner, and I’m exhausted). I can’t be with my family today, but I’ll be thinking of them while I eat my cornbread dressing. And since it’s just me, I won’t have to fight for the corner bit.

This Thanksgiving especially, it’s important to remember the good things we should be thankful for, and know that life goes on no matter the insanity that’s going on right now.

Laughter helps. I know it helps me. And not thinking about shopping. Or work. Or the next president …
