I won’t be publishing a Sunday happy entry for at least the next week or two. My furry one died just after midnight, and I’m not ready to write about it just yet.
He had a good 14 years, and went peacefully.

I'm a retiree in his seventies. That may not be significant to many, since there is a bunch of us Baby Boomers around. However, in the year 2,000, when I received a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma, I expected to be dead in three to five years.

Brenda,
I am so sorry about Luke. I know you’ll treasure the memories, but it’s just not the same.
We had to put one of our cats (from Arkansas) down two years ago, and I still miss him every day.

Hi, Susan!
Thank you. I know I’ll eventually get some more feline love in my life, but it will be a while.
I’m sorry about yours too. Those boys were adorable, 🙂
