Tomorrow will be the year anniversary of Mama’s passing during last year’s flu epidemic. She would probably be amused by what all of us are going through right now and asking what the hell these people think they’re doing with all that toilet paper.
Their cats are using it. C’mon!
While I’ve already tired of working remotely, Slack has provided more than a few laughs, with co-workers sharing photos of their new bosses at home. By the end of next week, more of the photos might look like these.
I hope it was the cheap stuff, bought especially for the cat. Image found on Bored Panda.

That is quite often true. Which is why we need a newsroom pet for when we’re not in isolation. Image found on cheezburger.

Funny, funny! I can laugh. I work from home all the time. My old cat doesn’t bother me except when I want to sleep in. AND he won’t eat the myriad kinds/ flavors/ brands of food I offer after the first 2 cans that he’s gobbled up. Sigh. I guess he’ll die.
In that way I was lucky. Once I figured out that Luke wouldn’t eat poultry or beef, I knew most of the fishy things I got were fine. I just had to switch them up so he didn’t eat nothing but tuna or nothing but salmon. As long as he got those, plus his dry (which was a mixture of about five different kinds to account for his sensitive stomach, the fact he was indoors and he wouldn’t eat any dry unless Kit n Kaboodle was mixed in), he was happy. Well, as happy as a demon cat could be. 😼
I work from home quite a bit, like when I’m ill, but it’s nothing like this. Friday I think we finally got the routine down. Maybe this week will be easier.
I'm a retiree in his seventies. That may not be significant to many, since there is a bunch of us Baby Boomers around. However, in the year 2,000, when I received a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma, I expected to be dead in three to five years.
Marlow the Golden Retriever is glad that I am at home today.
