Yes, I know I need to shower, but this isn’t about that. It’s about those April showers we’ve been getting an awful lot of. Right now it will probably take a week for my yard to dry out enough to be mowed, but I count myself lucky that all I’ve dealt with, really, is rain and a little wind, while some friends have had tornadoes hit their areas.

Still, we always hear that April showers bring May flowers. Well, not so much if you never had a chance to plant any, soooo …

If it wasn’t rain or snow he was watching, it was evil squirrels.

When the boy was still here, he’d spend a lot of time watching the rain at his favorite window, and it always gave me a warm feeling to see him so serene.

Then he’d go on a screaming run around the house. Moment over.

Pretty sure these guys do the same.
