Some of you know by now (because you’re on my friends list) that I finally gave in and joined Facebook, though it was mostly to be able to chat with a friend no longer in my Ravenhill guild, as well as keep connected with family members since they’re all elsewhere. I’ve been trying to figure out how to direct my Facebook friends here, but I apparently am abusive and don’t meet community standards. (Have they seen what people post? Not sure how this inoffensive little blog here is the problem.)
Because of that, I’ve been trying to no avail to get an answer/resolution from the developers there, as well as checking out how other people handled it (this isn’t an unknown problem, and happens to a lot of people, from what I can gather). Now, if the tech support team looked like these guys, I wouldn’t mind waiting. Pretty sure they don’t.

I am the least-expert person to assist regarding Facebook–I don’t know how to de-friend the guys who keep sending me dirty videos–but I think the solution to your problem, if I understand it, is to simply post a note on your FB page inviting people to check out the blog, posting the web address. (You might avoid run-on sentences, which I am trying, unsuccessful, to do.) You can email me if you want to discuss the issue.

I tried posting the Web address, but it wouldn’t let me. Oh well …

Could you try just posting a sentence that says, “Please Google blooper0223 to find my blog”?
I Googled that, and the link to your blog came right up.
Of course, Facebook might still delete it…..

I’ve been telling people to google the blog name, and it’s worked so far. For people with subscriptions to the paper I work for, they can click the live link at the end of my Wednesday column, which I have been able to post to Facebook.
It’s just annoying to have to go around it. 😉

Wow! I tried posting it on my account and I got the same rejection. I saw a link to an explanation. You might try that.

I got the same thing, which didn’t help me. Support isn’t exactly support. 😉
