Sunday jingles

Christmas is just a few days away, which means … well, this year not much different than usual for the rest of the year, but there will probably be music, stockings and assorted sparkly bits of fun.

We all know I’m pretty soft-hearted about some things, and sometimes all it takes to get me started is a photo, a song … or a very well-done holiday ad. Some stick with you, like Coke’s “I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing.” It’s the music … or the acting … or the cinematography … something just makes you want to hug someone you love. This year, though, that better be someone who lives with you unless you’ve done the requisite quarantine period. Otherwise, it’ll have to be a virtual hug.

The Brits have a lot of great ads.
As the advertiser said on its YouTube description, “If ever there was a Christmas to look out for one another, this is the one.”
I’m not crying. You’re crying.
OK, now I’m crying.

You know I can’t let you go without a smile to ease that tear in your eye. That just wouldn’t be me. Have a great week!

This rahtcheer is why so many of us are cat lovers. So much goofiness packed in such little packages.
