Sunday singy

You might remember the Marsh Family, the English family of six who became viral sensations for their pandemic parody of “One Day More” from Les Miserables.

You can probably guess where in the song I totally lost it.

They’ve done a few more since then, and recently went viral again with “Totally Fixed Where We Are.”

Now I want to rat my hair to get it as big as Bonnie Tyler’s again.

And can we talk about how “going viral” might not be the best description during a pandemic. I mean, not now, but we’ll have to have a little talk with the Internet about that at some point.

They aren’t the only ones who’ve taken to creating parody videos with all that extra pandemic time they’ve had over the past 11 months. Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

What? Did you really think I wouldn’t put this Chris Mann in here?
Yes, I happen to love the particular Billy Joel song this parodies. So sue me.
I wonder if Simon and Garfunkel have heard this …
I feel this so hard. I don’t know what I’m going to do when I have to go back to wearing real pants.

  1. “Some redeeming qualities”? Unlike Him-Whom-I-Will-Not-Name who used to be our President because I waiting to play my “Trump” card?
