Yeah, I know it’s not Thanksgiving yet, but like Penn Holderness, I really like Thanksgiving and think it should get more due than it does. Of course, it’s not the turkey that I really love as far as food; it’s cornbread dressing. My mom’s dressing is simple, just cornbread, a little stale bread of your choice, onions, sage, broth and whatever other seasonings you want. This year I got Trader Joe’s sous vide turkey tenderloins to go with the dressing (I wanted turkey cutlets or the half breast, but they were out, and I refuse to get a whole turkey for one person). Now, if it were with a lot of people, sure, I’d want that whole turkey and all the fixings, but c’mon, it’s me. I’m a hermit, and I only get the one day off, so I’m not traveling.

But yeah, Thanksgiving!
