Last week was all about newspapers (hey, I work for one, and I need the paycheck, so subscribe!). This week, and the rest of the month, is all about that holiday coming up at the end of the month, so I’ve been getting prepared by watching favorite “scary” movies. OK, I’m not huge on gore/horror, but I do love a good Stephen King movie, and a few others that are slightly bloody (like “The Lost Boys”). I’ve also already dipped into “Young Frankenstein” and am, at this writing, about to rewatch “Little Shop of Horrors.”
Not quite up to those yet? Have a few small frights, whydoncha?
Someone summed up the coming season as HalloThanksMas in recognition of how we seem to get the jump on them all, regardless of how far off they may be. So let me be the first to wish you a Happy HTM. And in case any right-wingers see this, I am not suggesting it is illegal to say Merry Christmas, though I am sure we’ll hear that Biden brought that about somehow.

I think I saw my first Halloween stuff back in July, and that was the beginning of HalloThanksMas. Another couple of years and it will be a year round thing, just like our political campaigns. I’m pretty burned out on all of them
