I’ve been working a lot lately, between regular work, house/cat-sitting and trying to move (not much moving, though, considering the heat and two sitting jobs over the weekend, one overnight and the other drop-in, and now that it’s a little cooler, I’m too tired), so when a sometime contributor wanted to get something in by midweek this week about the death of a teacher’s aide at a child-care center, I was more than willing to give up my spot on the Voices page this week.
Plus, Dolly Madison (one of the three babes I’m currently sitting, whose mom returns Wednesday) is not happy with how much time I’m spending on the computer. When Dolly puts her paw down, you’d better pay heed.
