No column today

I decided to take the opportunity of a surplus of guest columns and use one in my usual Wednesday spot, which meant I didn’t have to worry about writing one after finishing up my hopefully last ortho appointment Monday, especially since I was going to be spending the rest of the day with fur-nephews Ollie and his new little brother Leo. (I spent Saturday with them as well, and Sunday evening editing the Tuesday page, so can you blame me for not writing?)

Some pics to make up for it of the newest addition to the Kinsey household:

That’s my spot, you encroacher!
Aunt Benda, whatchu talkin’ about?
I feel like there should be something exploding behind him the way he’s doing the cool-guy walk.
In your way? How could I be in your way?
The teeny-tiny blep is one of the reasons people with cats forgive them so much.

  1. At band rehearsal Monday evening, we were rehearsing at the house of someone who has two cats living with them. Both of these cats sniffed suspiciously at my hands for what seemed liked the longest time before they would condescendingly and graciously allow me to pet them. I guess the cats were so suspicious of me because I am such a low down and fishy bottom feeder.
