Some people really get into the decorating spirit for Christmas. I admire those who have the time and energy to make such elaborate displays outside, but you won’t catch me doing it. Still, they’re having fun and hopefully aren’t creating a traffic hazard or leaving lights and music on 24/7. It’s Christmas!

But a week from now, you’ll be looking at all those Christmas displays and likely be grumbling, “Holiday’s over, take them down!” And this is why I don’t do outside decorations. If I have to take something down not that long after putting it up, it’s not getting put up in the first place. Bah humbug!

I’ll still enjoy what someone else did. But do it myself? Nah.
