The weather seems to have turned a little. When I got up Saturday to pick up plants I ordered from Audubon’s fall native plant sale, it was nice and cool. In the afternoon, I spent some time in Sarah’s backyard with the fur-nephews. It was a pleasant change from the past several months of temperatures in the 90s and 100s (I don’t do hot weather well.
It’s still not quite sweaters and cocoa time yet, but it’s coming. I’m ready for it.
Fall, quite literally.

Charlie likes fall, I think, like me (minus the headaches from the weather shifts). He gets to spend more time outside looking regal.
I'm a retiree in his seventies. That may not be significant to many, since there is a bunch of us Baby Boomers around. However, in the year 2,000, when I received a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma, I expected to be dead in three to five years.
