Sunday pranks

One of the things I miss about having a cat is being able to occasionally prank the boy, though it was hard to do because he was so smart (and suspicious … and paranoid), but sometimes I managed, and he always made me laugh.

So this morning, let us take a look at some pet owners and others with weird senses of humor. These are my peeps!

Well, now I know where the Saran Wrap went …

  1. A hundred years ago, there was a documentary called “Profiles in Courage” that started every episode with an eagle flying around the screen. When it left the screen, my cat would always search the back of the TV for the bird.

BTW I named him Gladys so he’d learn to fight.

  2. Whenever my Golden Retriever yawns, I jokingly suggest that maybe he needs to take a cat nap. When I am rubbing his belly and he gets this blissful expression on his furry face as if he is in Doggie Heaven, I jokingly suggest that maybe he should learn how to purr like a cat to let me know how much he is enjoying the belly rub.

  3. Sometimes he does act like a cat–for example when he can’t seem to decide whether or not he wants to stay inside or go out in the back yard.

  4. No I don’t have a so-called “doggie door” and I have no intention of installing one either. I prefer just to open the door to let the dog in or out.

    • Luke was an inside cat, so a pet door would be superfluous for me. The next ones (when I’m ready) will also be indoor because there are too many idiots and big trucks driving on my street at all hours.
