Sunday super

I have no intention of watching the Super Bowl today, but I can still do some Super Bowl food (I’m thinking chicken or pulled pork nachos) and have some pet-related laughs. Yeah, that’ll make up for the prednisone I’m having to take right now.

You got the tuna in a blanket, right?

To be fair, that’s pretty much you versus every guy. You’re a nerd, dude. Be proud.

This is why I stream stuff on my laptop. Still not watching the Super Bowl, though.

I swear if I go with the pulled pork, it won’t be this pig.

Hey, Tom Brady gave me one of his old balls. What a guy!

To be honest, he’s not amused by much.

I’m ready, Coach, put me in!

Sure, it’s an imaginary ball, but I nailed it!

This is my idea of a Super Bowl.

And yes, of course I must share, once again, my favorite Super Bowl commercial. They’re right; it is a hard job.

  1. Thank you for recovering the EDS “herding cats” ad–my all time favorite. Great to see it again.

    Get well.

As a lifelong Raider fan (season tickets the first time they were in Oakland), I still carry a grudge over the 2002 SnowJob game and may watch a bit of today’s game in the hope that the Patriots lose.(Maybe I should get off it)

    • It’s my all-time favorite too, I think because they did it oh-so-seriously instead of over-the-top absurdity. 😸

I’m feeling much better after a few days on the steroids, but I hate taking them because I can’t take muscle relaxers while taking them. I just have to power through the spasms. Woo hoo!

When I was in high school, I loved da Bears, and I was in Chicago around the time they won a Super Bowl. But I just sorta lost my love of the game after college, and would only watch for the commercials. Now I don’t even do that, and just catch them on the roundups.

      • Well, I got my wish with the Patriots losing. Now, I officially get off it. I grew up in New England, and the Patriots are now alright with me. No questioning that they are a very good football team.

Glad to hear you are feeling better. If I could find out where to sign up for the opioid epidemic, I share that with you. But nobody tells me anything.
