Sunday snoozy

At the time this is posted, it will, according to the clock, be 8:30 a.m. But you and I know it’s really 7:30.

I can sort of get behind the time change in the fall (an extra hour to sleep!!!), but I cannot condone the concept of “spring ahead.” I want my hour back, dang it!

Can we just operate on Brenda time?

I’ve been trying to forget about it. Go away.

Yeah, that’s how I feel too …

Even if I weren’t grouchy, I’d still want my hour back.

Can you change it back, please? I’m convalescing!

I would, pup, but I don’t know.

So not fair. It means we’re an hour closer to Monday.

  1. Brenda maybe you should try to be glad you don’t work from 11:30 P.M. to 8:00 a.m. unlike some of my co-workers here at the hospital. Yes I have worked that shift on rare occasions.

    • I used to work the graveyard, and other late shifts. My body can’t take that anymore. I’m thrilled to work normal hours with weekends off. Just wish I was able to take more time off. 😴

  2. One year, I did work the graveyard shift on a certain weekend in March when we moved the clocks forward one hour. This meant I worked only seven hours instead of eight hours. Yes I got paid for seven hours instead of eight.
