Sunday sticky situation

So today should be somewhat solemn and reverent, I guess, being Easter. But it’s also April Fools Day.

Best. Prank. Ever.

You see my quandary. I mean, seriously, how can I top, “Jesus is dead. April Fools!”

But God has a sense of humor, right? He made the platypus …

Yeah, I’m going to hell.

Happy Easter!

See? Sense of humor!

  1. Every Easter, I am reminded of the online comment during the 2008 presidential campaign between Obama and Romney

    Jesus was a community organizer

    Pilate was a governor

    Happy Holy Days

    • Of course, if the bunny chews all your telephone and networks wires, you’ll be cut off from the world and will only have that love. 😉
Until you replace them. The wires, not the bunny. 🐇

    • When I was in college, my friend Shelley had a bunny that was always chewing through wires. Inside bunnies tend to do that. Outside bunnies can’t reach, and the squirrels refuse to give them a boost up. Rotten squirrels. 🐿

  2. During the sixteen years I have lived in this house, squirrels have cut off my electricity three times. The man from the Electric Department who fixed the damage and turned on the electricity offered me the dead squirrel if I wanted to cook it. I told him thanks but no thanks. And he was welcome to take it with him and eat it himself if he wanted to.

  3. Yes God does have a sense of humor. He shared it with us because He knew we would need a good sense of humor to cope with and endure this imperfect, sinful, and fallen world we live in. This world can be a very difficult place to live in sometimes.
