Sooooo … that was an …. interesting week.
As a lot of us are probably still trying to figure out just what the hell happened last week, I think we could use some mindless entertainment. It doesn’t get much more mindless than zoomies.
People without pets tend to think it’s really just cats (Luke had his daily freakout sessions, which were always funny) and the occasional dog (occasional???) that do this, but animal lovers know that just about any animal can get the zoomies.
Except maybe sloths, snails/slugs and tortoises. If they did get the zoomies, would that look like normal speed to us?

So you think that cat may have been getting some exercise? If it was a chicken, would it be egg-ercise?

I think the cat was dusting the edges of the floor under the cabinets. 😉
I think the eggsercise might scramble the chicken.

If this cat is trying to dust the edge of the floor under the cabinets, it is exhibiting unusual behavior for a cat. I thought it was beneath a cat’s indignity to help with cleaning or any kind of house work. I thought cats just supervise while their human servant does all of the work. And when you finish, the cat will probably say, “That is okay and will do for now but you could have done a better job.”

I’m pretty sure the cleaning was unintentional, really. But it amuses the hoomins, so they don’t tell him he’s helping. 😉

I would prefer scrambled eggs instead of a scrambled chicken. Or ambled screggs instead of a chambled scricken. Like the song says, “Scrambled eggs or scrambled guts, just remember which is what. And our Space Opera goes rolling along.” You can sing this little ditty to the tune of “The Caissons Go Rolling Along”.

I use scrambled chicken for chicken burgers. Much tastier than turkey burgers. 🐓🍔
