Sunday fallin’

It will officially be fall tomorrow … but it still doesn’t feel like it. It does, though, feel like I’m going to keep tripping over my own feet. That’s the only fall I’m feeling right now.

I should be embarrassed by how often this happens to me.

And this too. Sometimes chairs just don’t like me very much.

I must go; my people nee- … my people need ice … lots of ice … and some arnica would probably help too. My butt’s gonna be purple for a few days.

I would be more embarrassed by the “dancing” than the fall if I were these two.

So many things are wrong here. She deserved to fall. And it does explain a lot of things about the sinks in the ladies’ room at work.

Wait … so you mean sloths don’t fall in slow motion??

Some people just aren’t meant for parkour. Me. Definitely me.

Still one of my all-time favorites. Birds are jerks.

And here you can see why I don’t much like heels or stairs.

I am just this graceful. Good thing we don’t get this much snow down here.

It’s the waking up mid-fall that gets me.

I will draw her in with my sexy shimmy … ow … please don’t look at me.

  1. Ouch! The penguins reminded me of a time when a friend, head of birds at SeaWorld in San Diego, invited our family to enter the penguin enclosure and walk among them. I was doing fine until I slipped on some ice and slid just a bit toward a penguin who panicked and drilled me in the shin. I was getting ready to drop-kick the little sucker across the enclosure when I saw the glass wall behind which a little boy would ask, “Daddy, why did that man kick the penguin?” I smiled as tears ran down my leg.

    • But did they turn brown naturally, or were they fried by the heat? 🔥🍂

I’m ready for fall temperatures, instead of what we have now. I don’t think we’re quite at Wisconsin’s 10 seasons (we’re lucky to get one winter, much less three), but c’mon … I need some cool temperatures and slight breezes!
