I was never a Lynyrd Skynyrd fan, but my brothers were/are.

We said goodbye to Corey yesterday, and I’m still processing it, which is why I’m offering a video again today. This, as I recall, was one of Corey’s favorite Skynyrd songs, and it describes him so well. He was not complicated; he was just good. If he could help someone, he would. He knew your favorite pizzas and would have them ready for you on the buffet when you walked in the door. Family meant a lot to him, and everyone was his family.

He was a simple kind of man, and that was enough.
