You mean it’s St. Patrick’s Day? Who knew? I seem to recall Chicago dyes it’s rivers green on St. Patrick’s Day, leading some to ask why don’t dye them blue the rest of the year.

Me mother was Irish, the Murphy side of the family. Great grandfather was an ambulance driver for the Yankees in the Civil War.

Probably the New York Knickerbockers needed the ambulance more, as they were not a great baseball team, losing their first game 23-to-1 in just four innings!
