Sunday springy

I know, spring’s been here almost a month already, and despite all the sneezing from the pollen, it hasn’t really felt much like spring, between cold snaps, mini heat waves and total solar eclipses. Now, though, it feels more like it to me, so let’s break out some springtime photos!

When I see a patch of tiny spring beauty in the yard, it always seems such a shame to mow it down.
Smells like … pulled pork … DIBS!!!!! Image found on crazyrunninggirl.
Yup. I have days when I’ll spend a solid five minutes at a time sneezing. Image found on Distractify.
The blooms are so pretty! Image found on The Eco Cat Lady Speaks.
I’m hoping I don’t pick up any of these in a couple of weeks. Surely Audubon didn’t sneak any into the plant sale that opened the morning after the eclipse … Image found on Memedroid.
It’s spring!!!!!!!!!!!! Image found on gocomics.
Unless you have neighbors who like to back up in your yard. Mud might be good for the skin, but a huge mudhole in the yard is NOT fun. Image found on imgflip.
Just don’t pee on the flowers. People don’t like that. Image found on Pinterest.
Bees on coneflowers just scream spring to me.
Catchfly is a cute little wildflower, but I’ve never caught a fly with it … slacker …
Ollie and Charlie wish to remind you that it’s spring outside and you should be out there with it. And let them tag along (not happening, sorry, bois).

  1. I hoped the eclipse would do something about the yellow pollen, but it looks like we need to break out the hose and mop again this year. How come the winds blow pollen onto my deck but don’t blow it off?

  2. Spring is springing here, too. Blossoms and delicate green fuzz on everything. It was evident as we drove toward the foothills yesterday for lunch … where we passed still-ample patches of snow. And the weatherman says chance of snow in the coming week. Spring in Colorado comes in fits and starts.

  3. All these pictures of flowers reminds me of the husband on The Newlywed Show who said that his wife’s favorite flour was Pillsbury. Although it was a flour-y answer, his wife did not like it.
