Yep, it’s pretty much been like this, though not as pretty. Forsythia is one of the things I’ll eventually be planting.
It’s been pretty much continually raining here, so my planting has been much delayed. However, today I’ll be out planting a few things. I may not get a lot of blooms this year, but getting my hands in the dirt will feel good. And later this year and next spring, I’ll be seeing the fruits of my labor. That’s always a good thing.
Till then, please enjoy some pictures of past blooms, and a few I’m about to plant.

This pinkish lenten rose is one of the beauties found underneath leaves. It’s one of the plants (actually, a set of three) on its way here.

Right now, some sweet pea plants are on the carport, awaiting planting.

This was one of the few mini roses I’ve found that actually has a scent. Alas, this one died a couple of years ago.

I now have an Angel Face climbing rose ready to plant; it’s my first climber.

Ajuga (bugleweed) is a groundcover that can sometimes become invasive (though I’m not worried). I have Burgundy Glow and Chocolate Chip, which is already flowering.

Love all of these. You’re so good with plants! Want to come plant some for me? 🙂

I haven’t done much yet, but I’m already tired. But it’ll be worth it …
