None of the above. It was the ticked-off cat, who couldn’t stand not to be first. Plus, he had to make sure to leave the path strewn with kitty litter so it’d be uncomfortable for everyone else.

According to a friend who is a member of MENSA, the high IQ organization, it was the egg which came first. How? According to the standard theory of evolution, reptiles appeared first on this planet before chickens and reptiles lay eggs.

Maybe the first chicken hatched from an egg laid by a reptile as a illogical step in the process of evolution? Desiring chicken when it isn’t even lunch time yet is a fowl and unfair thing.
