I'm a retiree in his seventies. That may not be significant to many, since there is a bunch of us Baby Boomers around. However, in the year 2,000, when I received a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma, I expected to be dead in three to five years.

Fascinating use of a banjo. Makes me think I should dig out the banjo I bought online years ago. It’s been a disappointment to me. Turns out you have to practice (who knew). Worse still, it has to be tuned first, however that happens. Maybe I’ll just leave it sitting in the corner.

I never would have expected it to work as well as it does. I’ll leave all the banjo-playing to Steve Martin and Kermit. I won’t even attempt it.

Wow, who knew!? And who would have guessed that a guy like that — toothpick, tank top, and all — would know Mozart? (Yeah, yeah, I know. Another stereotype bites the dust.)

I know, right? The toothpick really got me. 😂
