Serenity is a fuzzy belly 
The single biggest factor in our plundering the earth and killing off the other animals is our overpopulation: 7.6 billion on a planet that could support 1.5-2 billion of us sustainably.
Some religious folks feel they should overbreed because the Bible’s God said, “Go forth, be fruitful, and multiply.” However, Pete Seeger reminded us that when She said that, there were only two people per square earth.
I would add: we’ve multiplied, okay? Now let’s consider peace on earth, love one another, and some of the other injunctions that have fallen by the wayside.

The whole quiverfull movement is just feeding overpopulation. It also ignores the injunction to take care of the earth.

Then there are the men who think that the more women they make pregnant, that proves they are a “real man”. For example, a man who makes one hundred women pregnant is more of a “real man” than someone who can make only fifty women pregnant. I was taught that a “real man” stays around and helps raise those children whether or not he has any intention of marrying the mother of his children. He is involved in the lives of his children no matter how many he has.
