Whenever Veterans Day comes around, I always remember the For Better Or For Worse comic strip by Lynn Johnston which appeared in the newspaper on November 10, 2002 (the eleventh was on a Monday that year) and the song “Green Fields Of France” by Eric Bogle. This is how I commemorate Veterans Day and think of it.
