Obviously I haven’t quite been myself lately. This Saturday I’ll be saying goodbye to my brother, who amused and infuriated me, often at the same time. It’s hard to really describe how I’m feeling, but I know that this Pentatonix cover of “The Prayer” helped comfort me a little. I hope it brings you peace.

When my sister was murdered a few years ago, a lot of people expressed their sympathy and told me how sorry they were that I had lost one of my sisters. In reply, I would quote the title of one of my favorite hymns: “It Is Well With My Soul”. The people who know the inspirational story behind this hymn understood the message I was giving them.
