Sunday stayin’ in

I know, I just shared a video last week, but the video-every-other-Sunday thing is purely my self-imposed schedule, plus I’m tired (again, I really hate “spring forward”), so you get another video. Maybe it’s because I see so much of myself in it. I do love my friends, but people in general are exhausting. Give me my computer and my streaming platforms, plus my iPad and games, and I’m happy.

I have to admit I haven’t watched the shows mentioned in the video, but “The Gilded Age” is on my list.

    • That’s the bad thing about introverts. We have lots of great ideas (usually pretty moderate, in my experience), but the way we elect our office-holders means pressing of the flesh … and, ew, people. I like the idea I saw of doing elections like “The Masked Singer,” where everything partisan is hidden and you elect them based on their ideas. At the very least, people would have to actually pay attention.

    • Introvert used to be a bad word like it was something you weren’t supposed to be. When I learned that it WASN’T bad, I really saw that’s me. I need alot of quiet time. I wish some of the folks driving by with noisy cars, blaring music, leaf blowers, etc would appreciate this. 😉

    • I’m still trying to figure out what retirement means for me. Things I thought I would want to be involved in, I don’t. Like parish nursing at church. I knew I was burned out – but, I discovered it was even worse than I thought. I even questioned renewing my RN license & finally did – just in time. It’s interesting for sure.
