Sunday scribes

Today is National Poets Day, and because I’m a huge ailurophile, I’m going to celebrate in the best way I know … with cats. I’m not much of a poet, so I’m borrowing from others; still, I’ll share a few haikus. Enjoy!

And even then, it didn’t always work. But he was an awfully adorable little psycho.

  3. My cats would meow at me repeatedly until I woke up instead of walking around on top of me. Many years ago, there was a tomcat living with me who always insisted on going out at four a.m. no matter whether it was summer, winter, autumn, or spring.
