Sunday Didja Remember?

Hey, don’t set anything on fire!

No, not “remember, remember the fifth of November.” Though that’d be good too (as would watching V for Vendetta yet again).

Nope, turning back the clock (assuming you don’t have clocks that change automatically), if just so you don’t show up an hour early for church or brunch or whatever you have planned today.

I don’t have a good enough poker face to pull this off, dang it.

Hopefully you remembered to fall back … just like these guys.

  1. I have an atomic bedside clock that automatically adjusts to Daylight Savings and Daylight (Spending?), but I’d forgot that it takes a day to work things out. I thought I was getting a righteous start at 3:52. Turned out to be more insane than righteous. So, I really have an extra hour today–didn’t waste it sleeping. Let’s see if I can still make that claim at the symphony tonight.

  2. Instead of trying to remember, maybe you could “Try to dismember and when you dismember then swallow, swallow, swallow.” as someone wrote in a parody of a famous song from The Fantasticks?

  3. One of my friends jokingly said that she would be glad to change her clocks by turning all of them upside down. So I jokingly asked if she was going to stand on her head to tell what time it was. And wouldn’t it confuse her husband?
