I’m a bit tired at the moment … tired of the flooding and other weird weather, tired of crying at the drop of a hat, and tired of being tired. If you’re tired too, you may need this laugh as much as I did.

I'm a retiree in his seventies. That may not be significant to many, since there is a bunch of us Baby Boomers around. However, in the year 2,000, when I received a diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma, I expected to be dead in three to five years.

I laughed hysterically throughout this.
A few years ago, there was a CD of someone, working at home, who began engaging sales callers in conversation. He asked the person selling a household cleaner, “Will it get blood out of my curtains and carpet? A lot of blood.”
A caller selling cemetery plots was greeted by, “God must have told you to call. I am in such despair with my life that I was just about to commit suicide. Now I know my body will be properly taken care of.” Eventually, he agreed to postpone his suicide until the salesman could come out with a contract to be signed.

Telemarketers live in fear of my brother Corey because he loves to do this sort of thing. I just hang up, but Corey spins tales.
James Veitch is incredibly funny and brave. I love that he gets them to the point where they beg him to stop emailing them. 😂

Yeah, but they’re more dependent than cats are. Though I do love huskies.
