I love spring flowers. What I don’t love is pollen. I know a lot of my compatriots feel the same, what with all the sinus drainage and excruciating headaches that result. That’s life in the South. So yeah, of course I love this Holderness Family parody that encompasses both that feeling and one of my favorite songs from “Encanto.” Enjoy.
After the video, I actually don’t feel so bad. Also, I take a tbsp of local honey every morning, which “seems” to help. The theory is that the bees make the honey from the same plants that I’m allergic to, and the honey provides a degree of immunization. In any event, the honey tastes good.

I had a sneezing fit when I was getting back in the car at home to come back to Sarah’s. My silver car is a sickly yellowish green right now. 🤧

Reminds me of my years in Marietta, Ga. when you could almost use a shovel on the pine pollen.

I love trees, but good lord, this time of year is horrible between all the pollen and catkins everywhere.
