Sorry, covid is taking a lot more out of me than I thought it would.

My son and granddaughter just finished a week of covid confinement. We should be done with this curse by now. Wishing you a speedy, complete recovery!

Thanks, Susan! Right now I just want to breathe deeply again, and not feel like my head’s trying to kill me. Had Sarah not urged me to take a covid test, I would probably be in worse shape right now, and spread it to more people, including one friend who’s having surgery soon.

Yep, breathing is always a worthy goal. Here’s to your free, easy breathing ASAP.

It may be time for a Z-PAK, to take care of any accompanying bacterial infections in your lungs. Most urgent care drop-in medical facilities can prescribe this. I worry for you when I hear deep breathing is an issue. In case you’ve not had a Z-PAK: “The Z-Pak is a 5-day course of azithromycin (Zithromax), an antibiotic. It’s used to treat certain bacterial infections, including some sinus infections and upper respiratory tract infections that lead to: Headaches. Sore throat.” Best wishes for a speedier recovery than you’ve had.

I should clarify. The biggest reason I’m having breathing issues right now is because the Mucinex has been doing its job and thinning out the (yuck alert) mucus in my lungs. Once the stuff is mostly out of my lungs, I should be able to breathe deeply without fear of a coughing attack. I think my recovery is being delayed at the moment because of stress over my car situation, but I have been improving… just slower than I’d like. My pulse ox has yet to drop under 96, but if it worsens, I’ll call my doc.
